Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery have expanded their content licensing relationship, allowing additional Warner Bros. Discovery titles to stream on Netflix, the companies confirmed this week. The move reflects ongoing efforts by major media groups to monetize deep content libraries while adapting to shifting viewer habits and a competitive global streaming market.
Under the expanded arrangement, Netflix will add a selection of previously exclusive Warner Bros. Discovery programming to its U.S. catalog, with some titles expected to roll out internationally in phases. The companies did not disclose financial terms or provide a full list of shows included in the deal.
Warner Bros. Discovery said the agreement aligns with its strategy to generate incremental revenue through third-party licensing while continuing to prioritize its own direct-to-consumer platforms.
